Spend an afternoon with us and learn to differentiate good coffee from not so good coffee as if you were a professional barista.
We organize the tastings on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons, we normally start at 5:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. and finish around 7:30 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. Once the tasting is over, we like to have some time to clarify possible questions about how to prepare coffee at home or any other questions you may have regarding coffee.
The tasting itself consists of:
A BIT OF THEORY
- Origins of coffee
- Roasted, robusta, arabica and specialty coffees.
- Coffee processes
THE TASTING (Brazilian)
– The importance of grinding
- Fragrance, aroma, flavor
- Is it possible that a coffee reminds you of fruit or a flower?
- Sharing
OTHER IMPORTANT FACTORS
- The milk. We will teach you how to heat the milk and not spoil the coffee
- How to make the perfect coffee at home
NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE COFFEE
- Small free tasting of infusions and other products that excite us.
Tasting given by Ignacio Prado, founder and roaster of Artisan Coffee
Reserve your place, maximum number of students per tasting: 4
NOTE FOR THOSE WHO ARE AFRAID OF NOT SLEEPING: OUR COFFEES HAVE MUCH LESS CAFFEINE THAN THE "NORMAL" ONES. ALSO WE USE CONTAINERS SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO EAT ALL THE COFFEE YOU TRY.
